The Japanese unlike the English use bowing as the method of greeting for each other in each and every circumstances. It is naturally the nod of the head 90 degree bent at the waist.Men and women have the same patterns of the bowing. However, depending on the circumstances and the social status of the people has very huge influence on bowing.Specially,if the person is very higher social figure the bow should be deeper and longer than the usual bow.
