What is 5s?
Most of the people around the world today are very curious about the 5S system.But, wonder where it is actually originated?The 5S system is totally a japanese invention and it is used as a organization tool in the management system of the Japanese.
The five S means five Japanese words in it.The main thing is the organizing the work place as very efficient and effective to achieve the targets.This is the main theme of 5S system.
How things are arranged in order
The 5S includes
1.Seiri- well organization/clear
2.Seiton- tidiness/put things in order
3.Seiso- Clean up
4.Seiketsu- standerdization
5.shitsuke -maintain the above four 5S and achieve certain targets.
